ABOUT CRIMSONLINE BLOODLINES
CrimsonLine Bloodlines is a boutique greyhound breeding program built on a simple philosophy: quality over quantity, proven damlines, biomechanically compatible matings, and the belief that early speed wins races at every level.
My entry into greyhound racing was the classic beginner’s‑luck story. Through an association with Hall of Famer Norm McCullagh — of Bold Trease fame — and the classy speedster Crimson Vixen, owned by the Mingo’s Mates syndicate that included my brother and nephews, I found myself suddenly immersed in the sport.
Most people spend decades hoping to be connected to a Group‑level greyhound. When you have a bitch who makes five Group Finals, with one win and three placings from just 32 starts, you only realise afterwards how rare that truly is.
Having been at the pointy end of the sport, I know what “good” looks like — and I know these bloodlines. After being well and truly hooked, the natural progression was to become an individual owner, then a trainer, and now a breeder of this line: the CrimsonLine.
I have owned — and later owner‑trained and raced — Dash of Crimson and Crimson Kit (Fernando Bale × Crimson Vixen). From day one, the long‑term plan was always centred on their pedigrees, their brood‑bitch potential, and the continuation of this exceptional damline.
They’re not just brood bitches; they’re part of a long‑term breeding strategy built around temperament, intelligence, athleticism, and the traits that genuinely win races. And yes — they carry genuine blue‑blood pedigrees, with a true “blue hen” granddam in Weeping Lass on the dam side.
CrimsonLine Bloodlines is intentionally small.
I don’t breed volume litters, and stud dog selections are never outsourced. Every mating is carefully analysed — biomechanics, temperament, race traits, and generational patterns all matter.
This is a genuine passion project. I breed purposeful litters — the kind where every pup is given its best chance of success because the dams have been matched to the right stud dogs through a deep understanding of their life stories, strengths, and genetic profiles.
If you’re looking for pups with proven genetics, temperament, ability, and biomechanical soundness — from someone with genuine passion for the breed — you’re in the right place.
